There are many words we can use to express quantities in English. This ESL worksheet will help children learn new vocabulary words. They are asked to read the sentences and write the correct answer in the brackets. There are three words to choose from for each sentence.
We use the preposition 'to' when something or someone is moving towards something else. We use the preposition 'from' when something or someone is moving away from something else. Children read through the sentences and fill in the blanks with 'to' or 'from'.

When an action is happening now, we often add -ing at the end of the verb. Students read each sentence and write 'are', 'is', or 'am', then add -ing at the end of each verb in brackets. Remember, if the verb ends with an 'e', remove the 'e' and add -ing.
The verb 'must' is a modal verb (a 'helping' verb). We use 'must' to show that something has to be done. The opposite of must is mustn't. We use 'mustn't' to show that something should not be done. Students read each sentence and fill in the blank with 'must' or 'mustn't'. This resource is an intermediate ESL exercise.
