How many minutes are there in an hour?
There are 60 minutes in an hour.
- 1 hour = 60 minutes
- 2 hours = 120 minutes (60 + 60 or 60 x 2)
- 3 hours = 180 minutes (60 + 60 + 60 or 60 x 3)
- 4 hours = 240 minutes (60 x 4)
- 5 hours = 300 minutes (60 x 5)
- 6 hours = 360 minutes (60 x 6)
- 7 hours = 420 minutes (60 x 7)
- 8 hours = 480 minutes (60 x 8)
- 9 hours = 540 minutes (60 x 9)
- 10 hours = 600 minutes (60 x 10)
It might look difficult but the 60 times table is the same as the 6 times table, we just add a zero at the end of each number!
