All About Neptune
Neptune is the eighth and furthest planet from the Sun. It is the fourth-largest planet in the Solar System. It is the smallest of the four gas giants.
Neptune has 14 moons in total. Triton is the biggest moon.
Neptune has faint rings around it. They are made up of grains of dust and ice and are reddish in colour. Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus have rings too. They are also gas planets.
It is very cold on Neptune. The temperature is low because it is so far away from the Sun.
There is a storm on Neptune that is the same size as planet Earth! It is called the Great Dark Spot.
The Earth takes 1 year to make a complete orbit around the Sun. Neptune takes 164.8 years.
