Ordering decimals can be a bit tricky. 

If we look at 0.35 and 0.305 we might think that 0.305 is bigger because there are more digits. But this is not correct!

Numbers that are smaller than 1 are written as decimal numbers like this:

0.1   0.2   0.3   0.4   0.5   0.6   0.7   0.8   0.9

When ordering decimal numbers you must first look at the number before the decimal point and see if it is smaller or bigger than another decimal number:  0.1 

Then you look at the number after the decimal point: 0.1

If we put the numbers in order from smallest to biggest, it will look like this:

0.1,  0.2,  0.3,  0.4,  0.5,  0.6,  0.7,  0.8,  0.9,  1

If we put the numbers in order from biggest to smallest, it will look like this: 

1,  0.9,  0.8,  0.7,  0.6,  0.5,  0.4,  0.3,  0.2,  0.1
