How do we measure weight?
Weight is how heavy something is. Weight is usually measured in grams (g) and kilograms (kg).
Smaller objects are normally weighed in g.
Larger objects are normally weighed in kg.
The bag weighs 1000 g.
The book weighs 300 g.
The bag and the book together weigh: 1000 g + 300 g = 1300 g
600 g + 500 g = 1100 g
10 kg − 7 kg = 3 kg
