What is a capital letter?
Capital letters are used at the beginning of the names of days, months, and public holidays. The names of seasons do not usually begin with capital letters.

Wednesday; Monday; Thursday
April; January, August
Christmas; Easter
summer; autumn; winter; spring
The names of people and places also begin with a capital letter. We will look at some examples of those in level 2.
