  • Decorations for Valentine's Day are generally red and pink in colour.
  • In the 1800s, Richard Cadbury made the first box of chocolates for Valentine's Day.
  • Cupid is the Roman god of love and affection. In Latin (ancient language) Cupid means Amor which means love in English.
  • The red rose is known as the "flower of love".
