What is a suffix?
Suffixes can be attached to the end of a root word to change it in some way. Some common examples include -able, -er, -est, -ful, and -ible.
Suffixes - Adding er and est activity
This handy worksheet will help your child become confident using the suffixes -er and -est. Children convert the table of words by adding -er and -est to the adjectives. This is also a great way for children to practise their spelling. There is an example to help them get started and an answer sheet for quick marking.
